I have TONS of Halloween photos to scrap!  I am just so happy with how this layout came out!  I really like it!  I used the Happy Hauntings and Mini Monsters Cricut cartridges for the cuts.  Check out my video below.  If you are having trouble seeing the video, be sure you are trying to view it from my blog or from YouTube, as it won't show up in the email.

Last Minute Halloween Treat Bags

Hey Guys!  I wanted to share my last-minute Halloween treat bags.  Yes, I really procrastinated this year.  I just couldn't make a decision all month on what I wanted to do either.  I knew I had to make 46 treat bags (for 2 classes for my kiddos).  That being said, I knew I didn't want to spend forever layering cuts.  So I went with REALLY SIMPLE!  And you know what...I am super excited with how they came out!
Check out my video below (must be viewed from blog or YouTube):

I saw Mary with CardsTV make this gate-fold card the other day, and I just knew I wanted to try one too!

"Witch" Way to the Candy? Layout

Hey everyone!  I'm back sharing another Halloween layout.  I'm kind of sad October is almost over because I love creating Halloween layouts!  This one was my favorite to make so far.  I'm entering it in some challenges, and you can check out my video below.
So my usual scrapbooking process is to create a layout after I have pictures.  However, this layout is designed for Halloween for this year.  That's a big deal for me!  I guess we'll see how it goes, and hopefully I'll have pictures to fit the mats I made.
My inspiration for this layout is my daughter's Halloween costume this year.  She's going to be a "good" witch with sparkles and purple hair.  So I created a layout with a witch's accessories:)
Cuts are from Mini Monsters and Happy Hauntings and embellished with Stickles and Recollections glitter with the help of my Xyron sticker maker.

Breast Cancer Awareness Project

Hey Everybody!  There's a new challenge this week over a Bitten by the Bug 2.  This week we'd like you to make a project to support a health awareness, such as breast cancer, Lupus, Luekemia, etc...your choice!

Boy did this really hit home for me.  My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in February.  Since then she has undergone a mastectomy and is now on week 16 of 24 weeks of chemo with radiation to follow.  So far we've gotten great news, and scans right before chemo showed she was cancer free!!  She still has quite a bit ahead of her, but I know she is so strong!

So this project has to be one of the most special things I've made.  This framed project will hold a very special picture!  It is for the day she rings her bell on her last day of chemo!  I want her to always remember how strong she has been even when she hasn't felt like it at all.

Supplies/Details:
Hope-Gypsy Wanderings-2.25 in.
Butterfly-Once Upon a Princess-2.00 in.
Flowers-Once Upon a Princess 1 in. and 1.5 in.
Frame-Elegant Edges-8.35 in.
Pink Mat-5 x 7
Recollections Cardstock
Stickles
Chalk
Hope to see you enter the challenge this week!!

And speaking of my Mom, over on my food blog I have a delicious dessert for your next family gathering:  Not Yo Mama's Banana Pudding
It's a Paula Deen recipe and it is divine!!

Bewitching Layout

Isn't this the cutest Halloween layout EVER!  I ordered the page kit from Out on a Limb Scrapbooking.  I had been admiring their layouts for a while and decided to order this one and a Christmas one.  I was so excited to get it in.  You get directions too.  For EVERYTHING you see here, it was only $8.00.  The only thing I added was a little inking to the cute little witch.  I was so excited with how it came out and I didn't have to do any thinking...well only which pictures I'd choose and where I would put them.
Isn't she cute?
I REALLY love their titles!!
Since this order, I did order a few more.  I don't mind spending a little to get all the work done for me every once in a while.  I still get the chance to be creative at the same time.

Schoolwork Savers

I wanted to share the school work saver boxes I made for my kiddos.
I picked up these letter size file boxes at Office Depot.
I used Plantin Schoolbook for "Olivia."
The circles are also from that cart sized at 1.00 and .75 in.
I used Cuttin Up for "Grant."

Inside I have their school work saved for each year.  I only save some of it or else I'd need a lot more boxes!  I choose to save things with their hand prints, papers that show how they wrote their name, and other special projects and journals.  I plan on putting ALL of their work until they graduate, so I have to be very selective even though it is hard to throw anything.

And if you are in the mood for something comforting as fall approaches, I have a recipe for a Taco Spaghetti Bake over on my food blog:
