Easter Treat Bags

Here are the Easter treat bags I made this year for my kids' classes.  I wanted to do something that did not have a lot of layers to it.  These really came out cute!  I loved the Bunny Bait I did last year, but I decided to just go simple and put Robin's Eggs in these.

The Easter basket, grass, and eggs are from Create-a-Critter 2.  The eggs were embossed using the Cuttlebug with the polka dots and divine swirls folders.

The fence was made using Martha Stewart's border fence punch.

1st Birthday Layout

Here is a layout I made for my youngest daughter.  I'm so far behind on my scrapbooks!!!  I like to scrapbook big events, holidays, and a layout for each month for EACH child!  Well....I'm kind of behind.  Anyway, I haven't even started my youngest daughter's book yet until this layout.  I'm kind of going a little backwards, I know, starting with the first birthday...but when an idea hits me lately, I run with it!

I am LOVING Create-a-Critter 2!!!!!  LOVE IT!  It has so much!    Every cut besides the font came from that cartridge.

The font came from my other new favorite...Type Candy.  There are some super cute fonts on that one.  I decided to do this title a little differently.  I WELDED all of my shadow letters of each word.  I then cut out the top letters individually and glued them on the welded word.  It made it easier when I went to put them on the page.

I added little birthday party hats to the owls, which I thought made them so cute!  The owls range in size from 2 to 3 in.

Lucky Charm Treats

Hello!  My kids and I made some cute treats for their classes this week.  I saw them on Pinterest and decided to use my Cricut to help make some decorations for them.  I used Create-a-Critter 2 for all the cuts.

Recipe:
6 Tbsp butter
6 cups marshmallos
9 cups Lucky Charms cereal

Melt butter and marshmallows over medium heat.  Once melted, remove from heat and add cereal and stir gently. Spray a 13 x 9 pan with cooking spray and pour cereal mixture into pan.  Press down firmly.  Let cool a few hours before cutting.
