Monster Munch Treat Bags

I made these Monster Munch Treat bags for my kiddos' classes.  I have been waiting to use the Mini Monsters cartridge since I got it over the summer.  I've seen different versions of these treat mixes all over Pinterest.  I like making these mixes as opposed to a bag of MORE candy.
I also couldn't wait to stamp my Monster Mash Face Assortment from Peachy Keen Stamps.
Since I didn't have a stamp that said "Monster Munch," I used my computer to print it.

I made a total of 43 of them!!
I also made this AWESOME pretzel bark on the Cookies and Cups website.  I put it in little bags for their teachers.  It makes a ton and a little bite goes a long way!  I'm taking the rest to work:)
I'm entering these Monster Munch Treat Bags in the following challenges:

My Craft Spot-Too Cute to Spook
Pause Dream Enjoy-Candy!

Happy Halloween!!

Let's Hangout Layout

Here is a scrapbook page I recently worked on using Create-a-Critter and Life's a Party.

I got the banana paper at a local scrapbook store.  The yellow cardstock is from Recollections and the red is Pure Poppy from Papertrey Ink.  This was a pretty quick and simple layout to put together which is always nice!

End of the Year Gift Idea

I made this for my son's teacher during Teacher Appreciation Week.  I used some stamps from My Creative Time's April stamp release.  I'm not the best at coloring so I paper-pieced the flower.    I purchased the cup from Walmart and filled it with some single serving lemonade packets.  I made the gift card holder using a tag from the Sweet Treats cartridge.

Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge 17

I was so excited to see this week is a sketch challenge at Peachy Keen.  I decided to create a layout instead of a card.  I am a scrapbooker at heart.  I am MONTHS...no YEARS behind now.  I am still scrapbooking 2010 right now.  I make a chronological album per year for each of my children.  We recently welcomed our third child in February, so now I REALLY feel behind!  Needless to say, I feel very compelled to do a layout...or several for that matter!  So here it is...

This was really fun to make.  I've learned so much about layouts over this past year of following blogs.  The details make all the difference (when I have time to put them in there).

Supplies:
Perfume, lipstick, blow dryer-Paisley cartridge-2.5 in.
Tag behind title-Once Upon a Princess
Pretty Princess-Life's a Party-2.5 in.
PKS-Happy Lashes Assortment
Cardstock-Papertrey Ink
Patterned Paper-from my stash
Ek Sucess-Scalloped Border Punch
Ribbon-Raspberry Fizz-Papertrey Ink
Gel Pens and Chalk
And here it is with my oldest little girl's pictures:
Have a great day!

Teacher Appreciation: Water Bottle Candy Holder

Tomorrow is "Sweet Day" at my son's school.  I decided to make a cute little candy holder to attach to a water bottle.  I saw an idea similar to it on Pinterest.  I used my Gypsy to make it.  Oh how I LOVE my Gypsy!!  I also cut the apple at 1.5 in. from Create-a-Critter.
Here are a few pictures of my process:
The score lines were a little tricky.  I ended up making the box front only 3/4 in.  The front of the box measures 3 in. by 3 in.

Have a great day!!

Teacher Appreciation Tag and Cupcakes

Here's a simple tag I made to attach to some cupcakes I made for the teachers at my daughter's school.

I used Create-a-Critter for the apple and Sweet Treats for that cute tag.  I found these Texas Sheet Cupcakes on Pinterest.
Have a great day!

My Creative Time Stiched Die

Peachy Challenge 16: 3D Objects SOUPer Fun

This week's challenge at Peachy Keen was to use a soup can to create a 3D object.  I decided to make a pencil can for my classroom.  I ALWAYS have students who need to borrow a pencil.  I thought this would be cute for that purpose...and of course it is PURPLE!  My whole classroom has a purple theme, hence, the name of my blog...

Supplies:
Recollections patterned paper
Papertrey Ink cardstock
Gypsy Font Cartridge for monogram cut at 3.25 in. and 3.5 in.
Create-a-Critter worm cut at 1.5 in.
PKS Wide Eyed Kids stamp
White gel pen, chalk
Lavender Stickles

Have a great day!  Also, check out some of my Teacher Appreciation gift ideas.

Teacher Appreciation Gift

I have a cute teacher appreciation supply gift idea that was very simple to make!  I just used a gallon size ziploc bag for it.  I filled it with supplies that I know teachers always need.  (I'm a teacher myself...7th grade Math).  We can't get enough of post-it notes, pens, and TAPE!  I was excited to try this for my daughter's teacher.
I used Simply Charmed for the cuts.  They are sized at 3.5 inches.  Then I stamped some cute Happy Lashes stamps from Peachy Keen.  I used a sheet of patterned cardstock in the bag to give it more support.

Have a great day!
